Choosing a houseboat? These are the questions guests ask most.

What's the difference between Deluxe and Premium houseboats?

Deluxe houseboats have AC in the bedrooms from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM and serve Kerala-style meals. Premium houseboats have bedroom AC on demand from check-in to check-out, upgraded interiors, a choice of Kerala, South Indian and North Indian meals, and an upper deck or open viewing area on selected boats.

Should I book a private or a sharing houseboat?

A private houseboat is yours alone — the whole boat, crew and cruise. A sharing houseboat lets you book just your own private bedroom on a shared premium houseboat, like a hotel room, which keeps the price down. Sharing is for couples and families.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is at 12:00 PM and check-out is at 9:00 AM the next morning.

Does the houseboat cruise at night?

No. For safety and out of respect for local fishing, houseboats do not cruise after dark — the boat anchors securely for the night and cruising resumes in the morning.

What's included in the price?

The houseboat with a dedicated captain and chef, and every meal on board: welcome drink, lunch, evening tea with snacks, dinner and breakfast. Drinking water is complimentary.

Do the bedrooms have attached bathrooms?

Yes. Every bedroom on our Deluxe and Premium houseboats has an attached bathroom, with clean bed linen and towels provided.

How many guests can stay in each bedroom?

The price includes 2 guests per bedroom, and each bedroom can take up to 4. Extra guests are charged per person. Children up to 5 years stay free.

Can we take a special route, such as Kumarakom?

Yes. Special routes, including a Kumarakom round trip, are available for an additional fee — mention it when you book.

Can you arrange a honeymoon or celebration setup?

Yes. Honeymoon cakes and floral decoration can be arranged on board for an extra charge. Let us know when you book.
