The Alleppey houseboat night stay is for travellers who cannot reach Alleppey by noon. You board at 5:30 PM on a private boat that is already moored on the lake, have dinner on board, sleep on the water and leave after breakfast at 9:00 AM.
It is important to know what it is not: the boat does not cruise. Houseboats in Alleppey are not allowed to move after dark, so an evening check-in means the boat stays where it is. You are booking the setting, the quiet and the night on the water — not the backwater route.

Night stay vs overnight stay
- Night stay: 5:30 PM to 9:00 AM. Boat moored. Dinner and breakfast.
- Overnight stay: 12:00 PM to 9:00 AM. Afternoon cruise across Vembanad Lake, past the paddy fields and island canals, then moored for the night, and a morning cruise back. Lunch, evening tea, dinner and breakfast.
If you can reach Alleppey by noon, the overnight stay is the better trip. If you cannot, the night stay still gives you an evening and a sunrise on the water.

Getting there by 5:30 PM
Come to the jetty at Punnamada Finishing Point for 5:30 PM, pay the balance of your booking and board. A welcome drink is served on arrival. Tell us on WhatsApp if you are running late.
What the evening is like
With the boat moored, the evening is quiet: the lake at dusk, dinner at 8:00 PM, and a night on the water without the sound of engines. In the morning you wake on the lake and have breakfast at 8:00 AM before heading back.
Add a cruise the next day
You leave the boat at 9:00 AM. If you want to see the canals, a shikara ride from the same jetty takes 2 to 4 hours.

Send your date and arrival time on WhatsApp. A 25% advance holds the boat, and the balance is paid at check-in at the jetty in Punnamada.
